Barclays Capital

One asset which fits in perfectly with GreenWorld’s focus on ethical green investment and alternative Investmentis carbon credits.  We have seen a rapidly growing and profitable carbon trading market develop, with substantial increases in the value of carbon credits predicted.

A carbon credit is essentially the right by a company or organization to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere.  Due to government regulation, utilities and other industrial companies are increasingly buying carbon credits to meet CO2 emission requirements.  As a result, there has been an upward trend in carbon prices and GreenWorld has decided to introduce a carbon credit investment to the market.

GREENWORLD IS INTRODUCING A NEW AUSTRALIAN CARBON CREDIT INVESTMENT TO THE MARKET WITH MINIMUM GUARANTEED RETURNS OF 30% OVER A TWO YEAR TIME FRAME!

This Australian project takes advantage of Australia’s revolutionary new carbon tax law which was recently passed.  As part of this new carbon tax, the Australian Government has established a ‘Carbon Farming Initiative(CFI) as a major tool in moving Australia to a clean energy future, and in the process opened up a huge opportunity for investors!

The CFI government backed project offers farmers and landowners the chance to earn money by both producing carbon offsets and reducing carbon emissions guaranteeing a buy back price at a minimum of $23AUD per tonne price – that’s £15.20 at current exchange rates, and more than 40% above average market prices for carbon credits in Europe.

This government guaranteed project under the guarantees a minimum buy-back price between 2012 – 2015, and thereafter establishes a pricing structure to ensure that Australia’s carbon credits will continue to trade at a premium to world markets.

Minimum investment £9,000 (approximately US$14,600 at current exchange rates)

Minimum guaranteed returns under Australian law.  Based on the minimum $23AUD per tonne price set by the  Australian Government investors can expect to earn a minimum return of 30%.  In the current economic environment, the ability to invest in an ethical product with a return of 30% over two years that is GUARANTEED by a Western Government like Australia is truly extraordinary.

Individual plot size of 1/2 hectare

All establishment and management costs included – this is a truly passive investment

Returns of between 30% under a short-term two year structure, rising to 348% if one holds the carbon credits for a full 15 years.

The nice thing about carbon credit investments is that they are not only profitable, but that they are also one of the most ethical and socially responsible investments in the world.  Every person actually has his or her own personal carbon footprint that comes from driving, eating, electricity use and many other aspects of day-today life – reducing or eliminating this footprint is a great answer to why go green?  Below is an overview of how the carbon offsets market works:

In addition to GreenWorld’s unique Australian investment, we also have carbon credit investments focused on rainforests in Africa and Brazil.  Rainforests are critical in containing global warming as they absorb huge amounts of carbon dioxide.  For individuals looking to offset their own carbon footprint, carbon credits are the ideal socially responsible green investment.
